Over 300 students take FIIT JEE exam in Salem
The results will be declared on-line in the last week of April
Nearly 300 IIT JEE aspirants took the preliminary tests of the FIITJEE Talent Reward Examinations (FTRE) here on Sunday.
The FTRE's Stage 1 and Stage 2 examinations organised in association with The Hindu at various centres had attracted students from many educational institutions. The Stage 1 contained two papers for students of Classes V to Class XI. Based on these objective papers, students would get to know their National Ranking and Success Potential Index for various competitive examinations.
The Stage 2 consisted of Paper 3 and based on the performances, students would be selected for cash scholarships, fee waivers for FIITJEE programmes. Paper 3 would be evaluated only for those students who had qualified in the objective papers of 1 and 2 falling under Stage-1. They should obtain minimum cut-of marks. Zonal awards and results would be declared in the last week of April next. The results would be declared on-line at www.fiitjee-ftre.com or www.fiitjee.com.
FIITJEE had created a forum of excellence in training students for competitive examinations for the undergraduate level in India IIT JEE for which ideal school initiative programmes also had been conceptualised including the Pinnacle Two-year Integrated School Programme.
